Because I’ve Learned What Actually Matters… and What Doesn’t
This month, we’re celebrating three years of Therapists Corner. I’ve learned a lot during my time on this platform and today I want to share 12 things I’d tell myself if I was starting out on Substack today.
Here’s Why I Got Started in the First Place…
I didn’t launch a Substack publication because I wanted to be an ‘online creator’. I started because I wanted to build a welcoming homebase for therapists in private practice. I was also interested in building something bigger. I had a book coming out, I wanted to launch a course, and knew I’d be good at providing ongoing community support. Three years in, I’ve achieved these goals and more. Now, Substack makes up around a third of my income. It’s enabled me to spend more time writing, bringing in expert guests, and sharing knowledge. So, let’s get into it…
