The Question: Can I Work with a Client in the USA?

If you're a UK-based therapist in private practice, you may have received an enquiry from a potential client in the United States and wondered: Can I legally offer therapy to them?

Recently, I was approached by a potential client from North Carolina who wanted to work with me. Before responding, I contacted my insurance and considered all the legal requirements and ethical considerations.
