We are at the fourth email, which I send the day before the session and it is a crucial step for establishing a formal understanding of the therapeutic relationship and ensuring that both the client and I are on the same page before the first session and introducing the therapy agreement.
What This Email Includes:
A final reminder: of the appointment's time, date and location.
Therapy Agreement: I attach the therapy agreement for the client to review before the session. This document outlines key policies such as confidentiality, session length, and what the client can expect from the therapy process.
Pricing & Cancellation Policies: I also include a final reminder of my pricing and cancellation policies to ensure there is no ambiguity and that the client is clear on all the details.
By sending this email in advance, I give the client the opportunity to review the agreement at their own pace. This approach helps address any questions they may have before we meet, creating a solid foundation for the therapeutic relationship.
