New! Therapists’ Corner Member Shout-Outs
Members of Therapists Corner – Are sharing what they’re up to in private practice, their niches, offers and specialist interests. Think of it as a growing, trusted pool of therapists you can follow, get to know, and keep in mind for referrals, specialist supervision or signposting clients on.
Even if you’re not (yet!) a paid member, My hope is that, over time, these shout-outs become a genuinely valuable resource. Look out for the monthly post to add your comments to.

Elleen Okotie said the following…
‘Its certainly felt like up up hill battle at times, but one that is bearing fruit and I believe will continue to do so.
It was helpful to have the sessions with you Sarah, which identified the gaps in my business development. This was a good springboard for other training I have done that has built on what I learnt from our sessions.
I have replaced my initial basic website, which I put together myself, first time doing something like this, and was quite proud of, but it was basic lol. It has now been replaced by a really great website that better reflects me, my values and what I have to offer clients.
Check it out and see what you think:
I love the professionally done photos along with my logo
The website is gradually gaining traction, and I am getting more and more enquiries through it.
I have recently succeeded in becoming an accredited EMDR therapist, which I am very proud of.
2026 is where I am looking for more growth and increasing self-funding clients. I have some ideas about a complementary approach to use alongside standard therapeutic modalities, which I have used in my previous role working with children and adolescents and see it being a positive asset to clients I work with now.
I think I came into private practice a bit naïve and did not realise how much work it involves, especially in the early stages, but I’m excited about the road ahead and seeing my vision come to fruition.
I’d love to continue to network with other therapists. Do connect with me on LinkedIn and Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/elleenokotieurmindmatters/

Got Something to Share?
If you want to get involved, you can. Each month, I’ll be doing a feature post that celebrates what you’re doing — whether that’s:
✨ Launching a new website or platform
✨ Opening spaces for therapy or supervision, celebrate being fully booked or a business goal achieved
✨ Running a workshop or course, sharing a new blog post,
✨ Starting a Substack, A general brilliant achievement you want a clap for because you’re worth it
✨ Offering something new in your practice
✨ Or even just wanting to share your Instagram or LinkedIn account so people can follow and support you
Here’s how it will work:
Pop your link or update in the comments of the shout-out post — tell me what you’re doing and what you’d like to share.
Each month, I’ll post a reminder thread.
I’ll then gather everything and create a “What Our Members Are Up To, Shout-Out” post, which will go out to our full email list of almost 4,000 therapists.
