New! Therapists’ Corner Member Shout-Outs
Members of Therapists Corner are sharing what they’re up to in private practice, their niches, offers and specialist interests. Think of it as a growing, trusted pool of therapists you can follow, get to know, and keep in mind for referrals, specialist supervision or signposting clients on.
Even if you’re not (yet!) a paid member, my hope is that, over time, these shout-outs become a genuinely valuable resource. Look out for the monthly post to comment on.

From Jen who runs - Gut-Led Psychotherapy™
It’s been a full-on summer and I’m delighted to share a number of updates!
Gut-Led Psychotherapy™ is reaching people suited to the clinic’s speciality. I’m working with physiological and psychological stability and adjustment after gastric by-pass, managing chronic stress and overcoming health and and social anxiety after stress-induced gut conditions, and neurodiversity-affirming CBT for insomnia in the context of CFS/ME. These referrals are finding my clinic via word-of-mouth and my being active in and responding to posts in practitioner Facebook groups. I still have availability for more referrals!
I was proud to speak with friends and colleagues in leadership at the recent BABCP conference on ‘Tensions and tenacity in rebalancing power and equity in CBT leadership: Reflections from the BABCP 2025 Leadership Cohort’. I represented reflections from being a clinician in private practice. Watch this space for a write-up in a future CBT Today magazine!
At Anchored and Ascended Retreats, Chloé and I celebrated the success of our first 1-day retreat that we held at Chetham Farm near Bolton on Saturday 18th July. It was very well received and gathered many positive comments. What stood out in the comments was the safe and welcoming space we created and our dynamic as facilitators. We are now developing an online series of events to build our community so that we can offer more 1-day retreats and longer. As the content is trauma-informed, we are also exploring collaborations with charities so that we can reach more people who may enjoy and benefit from our offering.
I collaborated with ANIMA, a bar-restaurant venue in London, to offer a Sunday morning yoga and guided cacao meditation event. Participant feedback highlighted this different practice that anchors the focus on the direct experience of the cacao drink, it’s nutritional qualities, and includes a gratitude practice for this gift from the earth and all the people involved in bringing this drink to one’s hands.
Finally, I am now registered on the Safe Space Alliance online directory. Safe Space Alliance is, a LGBTQI+ led non-profit organisation that helps people identify, navigate, and create safe spaces for LGBTQI+ communities worldwide. I’ve written about why and what it means to me here: https://www.gutledpsychotherapy.com/safe-space-alliance.

Got Something to Share?
If you want to get involved, you can. Each month, I’ll be doing a feature post that celebrates what you’re doing — whether that’s:
✨ Launching a new website or platform
✨ Opening spaces for therapy or supervision, celebrate being fully booked or a business goal achieved
✨ Running a workshop or course, sharing a new blog post,
✨ Starting a Substack, A general brilliant achievement you want a clap for because you’re worth it
✨ Offering something new in your practice
✨ Or even just wanting to share your Instagram or LinkedIn account so people can follow and support you
Here’s how it will work:
Pop your link or update in the comments of the shout-out post — tell me what you’re doing and what you’d like to share.
Each month, I’ll post a reminder thread.
I’ll then gather everything and create a “What Our Members Are Up To, Shout-Out” post, which will go out to our full email list of almost 4,000 therapists.
