Here’s a question I want you to sit with for a moment:

“If I couldn’t see clients one-to-one for a month, how would my practice survive?”

Uncomfortable, isn’t it?

Last night, I ran a workshop on diversifying private practice and honestly, I was overwhelmed by the response.

I didn’t expect it to be so popular, so it’s clear we are starting to think differently about how our skills, knowledge, and expertise can be shared. That’s not only exciting for us as therapists, but it’s also exciting for how people can access our support in new, creative ways.

I’ve been a therapist for over 20 years. I love my clinical work. But I also know that tying my entire income to the hours I can physically show up is limiting, and I’ve had a few scary moments with my health while I’ve been in private practice, which have given me a reality check.

What happens when we are sick? Need a break? When December rolls around and everyone cancels?

I’m not talking about replacing therapy. I’m talking about creating options - workshops, resources, offers - that help people access your knowledge in different ways.

Because the truth is, our work doesn’t have to stay confined to the therapy room.

Following on from last night's workshop, there is a follow-up session where we will be refining your offers and an opportunity to get feedback. This is open to all paid members, so even if you didn’t make it yesterday, come along and listen to what others are creating. You might get some inspiration and your feedback will be appreciated.

🗓️ Follow-Up Session for Paid Members.

This will be a supportive, practical space where you can:

  • Refine your offers and get feedback

  • Learn from what others are creating

  • Get your tech questions answered (with my assistant Claire joining us to cover the technical side — websites, payment systems, and platforms)

🗓️ Date: Monday 11th November
🕞 Time: 3.30 pm
👥 With: Me & Claire

Even if you didn’t attend the first workshop, you’re very welcome

We had a few questions about the IT side of things—how you sell on your website, which platforms should I use, etc. Claire, who does a lot of this for me, will be joining us to help answer this side of things it’s actually not too tricky.

We can’t wait to help you implement your ideas

  • Here’s what I want you to know even if you are just starting out : your practice doesn’t have to depend entirely on you showing up every day.

  • You already have expertise worth sharing. You already help people transform their lives.

  • The question is: are you ready to think differently about how you deliver that value?
